Math: Scholars are learning how to divide by two digits and prime factorization.


Science: Scholars will be exploring the milky way and understanding the structure of blackhole. 


Literature: Scholars will begin chapter 8 of VODT and be introduced to figurative language. 


Grammar/Writing: Scholars will practice analyzing and diagramming sentences containing adverbs and adjectives.

History: Scholars will review Maya, Aztec and Inca civilizations.

September 8, 2023


Math: Scholars will be practicing two digit by two digit and three digit by two digit multiplication as well as division to increase their fluency.


Science: Scholars will observe and understand the planets called “wanderers” and focus on constellations.


Literature: Scholars will continue reading and annotating Voyage of the Dawn Treader.


Grammar/Writing: Scholars will be focusing on the structure and elements of a narrative in writing.


History: Scholars will be review Mesoamerica and previous civilizations.

Reminders: 

Your scholar needs to bring an independent reading book to school every day to use during dismissal. This is especially important if your scholar is picked up at Upper School because the expectation in the MPR is that scholars read silently.
